A BIT ABOUT LINDA PATTON

Here at Seedtime & Harvest Int., we see the value in everyone. We want to be a catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2000, we’ve been driven by the same ideas we initially founded our Non-Profit Organization upon: support, empowerment, and progress. Learn more about Linda and her vision and mission.

Biography: About Us

Linda, an American missionary based in London, England accepted Jesus Christ as Saviour in April
1976. She immediately recognized God’s call to become a missionary. As a single parent of a young
daughter, Lisa, in 1978 they sold everything, moving to Dallas, Texas to attend Christ For the Nations
Institute. Graduating in 1980 she served a short time as Secretary to the Dean of Men at CFNI.
In 1982 Linda and Lisa’s missionary adventure began when they moved to Amsterdam, Holland to
join Youth With A Mission, living and working in the notorious ‘red light district’. After a three
month outreach team to India and living and ministering in Kathmandu, Nepal; Lisa teaching Nepali
children English and Linda involved in evangelism and Discipleship Training School; they returned to
the US for a short sabbatical and Lisa married. Linda resumed her missionary work, returning to
Amsterdam; then to Brussels, Belgium before moving to London, England in l989. Linda has now
ministered in 23 nations speaking in crusades, conferences, Bible Schools and churches, some in very
remote parts of the world.

CURRENT MINISTRIES

*Churches in Communities International: Linda has been a part of CIC since its inception where she is

a licensed minister. She is a Council member of CIC, conducting yearly ministerial reviews for existing

ministries and churches as well as part of the Intercessory Reference Panel.

*Ambassadors College: Centre for World Evangelism - She is a lecturer in Church Planting and

Missions. She has previously taught: Principles of Church Leadership, Pastoral Issues, Principles of

Church Growth, Practical Ministries II- III, Missions and Church Planting.

*Iron Sharpens Iron: Linda is a well respected mentor of pastors, leaders, church workers as well as

non-Christians. It’s her delight to see others reaching their God-given potential, also realizing each of

us have much to contribute to one another, thus ‘iron sharpens iron’.

*SAM: School of Apostolic Ministry: A seasonal, six week intensive boot camp preparing students for

their chosen area of ministry. Linda founded and directs this ministry and hopes to resume it soon.

Prayer for Parliament: Linda meets monthly for the purpose of prayer for various bills and

amendments up for vote by Ministers of Parliament. She attends the yearly National Prayer

Breakfast at the House of Commons. In the 2020 Lock-down we have met weekly via zoom

conference.

*Street Pastors: Street Pastors, which is a part of the Acension Trust, works together with the Church,

local government and the police to provide support by reaching out into the community in practical

and spiritual ways. We usually go out on Friday nights from around 10pm-1:30am building

relationships with local restaurants, pub and clubs and being helpful to vulnerable people.

*Itinerant Speaking: She regularly speaks at churches, seminars and conferences worldwide.

Association of Christian Writers, UK: Member of ACW and part of a local writer’s group learning new

writing skills in preparation for articles and books she is developing.

*Church Association: UK: Currently based at Cornerstone Christian Centre, Bromley, Kent under

Pastor John & Nicola Ingle. US: Linda’s home church is Miracle Valley Church in Hermitage,

Pennsylvania under Pastor Sam & Kathy DeJoy.

PAST MINISTRIES

*Youth With A Mission: Linda and Lisa were based in Amsterdam, Holland under the leadership of

Floyd and Sally McClung from 1982-1996, a ministry to those entangled in prostitution and drug

addictions; part of a three month outreach team to India, lived in Kathmandu, Nepal for a time

ministering to western travellers, evangelism, prisons and helping in the Discipleship Training School.

*Brussels, Belgium: 1996 – spent several months assisting the then European Director of Women’s

Aglow International, Paula Shields with her teaching ministry throughout Europe.

London, England: In 1989, while attending Victory Outreach Church in Amsterdam Linda joined a two

week outreach team to London assisting in a new church plant amongst drug addicts and alcoholics.

She was asked to stay; living and working in their drug rehabilitation home in outer London before

moving to Central London to plant churches.

*Morris Cerullo World Evangelism: Served five years on the steering committee for Mission to London

Women’s Aglow International: Linda was Vice President of the first London chapter and first Area

Board President of Aglow in London overseeing seven chapter in the early 1990’s.

*Marilyn Hickey Ministries: Served five years on the Board of MHM UK late 1990’s-2001. Helping to

organize and promote conferences and meetings for Dr. Hickey.

*Kensington Temple: An Elim Pentecostal Church in Central London: Linda planted three churches in

London under KT. She also helped to oversee 9 other church plants. 1991-1997.

*Church Plant: Darlington, UK. Linda assisted a friend in planting his church in Darlington for four

years. 1997-2001

*New Covenant Church: A primarily Nigerian church. Linda joined NCC in 2001-2015 as a pastor and

planted one church before moving to her current church Cornerstone Christian Centre Bromley.

SHORT STORIES, TV, MEDIA ITV ENGLAND

*The Human Factor series filmed a documentary of Linda’s ministry to drug addicts, alcoholics and prostitutes in Earl’s Court, entitled ‘American Friend’ which aired in 1992, showing her first church plant amongst street people while at Kensington Temple. 

*‘God Stories From the Ends of the Earth’: Compiled and edited by Frieda

Maclear, Mission’s Pastor for Marilyn Hickey Ministries and Orchard Road Christian Center,

Greenwood Village, Colorado and copyrighted 2009. Linda wrote two short stories published in this

book. Pages 85-91. 

*Short Stories: She has written many short stories but has not published many of

them at the present time.

*WJEB-Channel 59: Television station- Jacksonville, Florida: Linda has been

interviewed numerous times about various aspects of her ministry and missions. 

*Various TV stations in US and UK: Previous experience with speaking in secular TV programs, interviews and debates.

*TBN UK –Trinity Broadcasting Network: Linda worked part time in the office for nearly two years.

Christian Concern filmed Linda’s testimony regarding the Assisted Dying Bill in 2015 which was being

debated in the House of Commons in 2015.
