OUR MISSION AND VISION

Seedtime and Harvest International was founded by Linda Patton and is based in London, England;

reaching the nations of the world.

​

Linda’s vision is:

• 1) to reach the lost through evangelism, church planting, crusades; coupled with signs, wonders and miracles; also practically meeting the needs of people through medical missions and other humanitarian efforts.

• 2) By building up and strengthening the Body of Christ through training seminars, conferences and preaching the Word of God in its fullness. Her long term vision for the School of Apostolic Ministry (SAM) was launched in the spring of 2004.

Linda gave her heart to the Lord in April, 1976. Immediately she knew the Lord was called to the

nations of the world. In 1978 the Lord called Linda and her young daughter, Lisa to sell everything

and go to Christ For The Nations, Dallas, Texas where they spent the next two years and a summer

studying God’s Word.

In 1982, as a single parent, with a 14 year old daughter, they moved to Amsterdam, Holland where

they worked with ‘Youth With A Mission’. They lived and worked in the notorious ‘red-light’ district

ministering to drug addicts and prostitutes.

In addition to the ministry in Amsterdam, the Lord led Linda and Lisa to India in 1984 as part of a

three month outreach team. In 1985 they moved to Kathmandu, Nepal. Linda was part of the

outreach team and Dilaram House; which was a ministry to western travellers. Lisa taught Nepali

children English and volunteered her cooking skills for the Discipleship Training School.

In l986 they returned to the US for a time, Lisa married and Linda returned to the mission field early

l987. Again she was based in Amsterdam, then Brussels, Belgium before the Lord led Linda to

London, England in l989.

​

She began evangelism on the streets of London. ITV, Channel Four made a documentary film about

her work with the drug addicts, prostitutes, homosexuals, transsexuals and transvestites. She

started her first church amongst this community in February 1992 under the covering of Kensington

Temple. The same year she started a sister church in Docklands, East London and the following year

in Burnt Oak, North London. Two of the churches survived and became official Elim Churches in

their own right.

She pastored, trained up leadership and oversaw the churches for six and a half years. She also

helped to oversee nine other churches in her designated area of the city for Kensington Temple. She

was also vice president of the first Women’s Aglow International chapter in London and the first

president of the London Area Board.

​

In 1997 she turned the churches and leadership back over to Kensington Temple. In the fall of l997

she moved to the north east of England to help pioneer a church alongside Geoff & June Walvin in

Darlington.

​

During this time the Lord began to release Linda into an international itinerant ministry. She has

now ministered in Albania, Nigeria, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Romania, Turkey, Kenya,

Uganda, Gabon, Thailand, Switzerland, the United States , the Czech Republic as well as the United

Kingdom. She continues to evangelize and building up the Body of Christ through speaking at local

churches, conferences, Bible Schools and in crusades. Linda is well respected in her ministry and

counsel to pastors and leaders.

In March of 2001 the Lord led Linda back to London to work alongside New Covenant Church which

is primarily Nigerian. As well as being involved in her local branch as a leader she continued

travelling to the nations and training of leaders through her School of Apostolic Ministry. In April

2006 she launched her fourth church in Croydon, South London under NCC. In April 2009 she turned

leadership over to a pastor she had trained in her School of Apostolic Ministry until the Lord led her

to Cornerstone Christian Centre in June 2014.

After many years of mentoring men and women the Lord expanded this ministry which is now called

‘Iron Sharpens Iron’. She not only mentors those in ministry, but also in various business’ and other

professions. This is amongst both Christians and non-Christians.

She is a licensed minister under Churches In Communities International as an itinerant minister. She

continues to be based in London but travels extensively in England and the nations of the world

teaching and informing people of the reality of Christ. Linda has also assisted a Singaporean Church

based in London for many years; many times stepping in to overseeing the church while the pastor

has been out of the country.

Linda was a board member for Marilyn Hickey Ministries for five years, helping her with her

conferences in London. She was also on the steering committee for Morris Cerrulo Ministries for

five years.

Linda is a mother, a grandmother and great grandmother sharing about God’s incredible love for us,

His amazing grace, His marvellous provision and His incredible healing power. Her life testifies that

God really does exist and He has a plan for every life; and in finding this plan is the only way in

finding true happiness.
